Assalaamu 'alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak.

We are writing to invite you and members of your congregation to participate in an Interfaith Food Drive in celebration of Passover, Lent and Easter, and Ramadan.

This year sees a convergence of holy days and seasons among the Abrahamic faiths during the month of April: Passover for Jews, Lent and Easter for Christians, and Ramadan for Muslims.

As faith communities, these overlapping holy days afford us an opportunity to foster mutual understanding and celebrate our shared humanity while helping those who may not have enough in our society.

How to participate:
  • Please confirm your congregation’s participation in the food drive by April 15 and your congregation will be added as a supporter on the website: https://bit.ly/3xc8DPa
  • Share the attached sample text/image which contains the donation link www.give30.org/donate . Congregants may choose a foodbank in their city or of their choice to support. Share on social media sites.
